How to Get the Free Down Low Dozen Tip Sheet Mentioned in Heart and Soul Magazine

Released on = September 12, 2006, 9:38 am

Press Release Author = Lifestyle Publ;ications

Industry = Consumer Services

Press Release Summary = The e-mail address to request the Down Low Dozen tip sheet
mentioned in the Heart and Soul article on Brokeback marriages was incorrectly
listed. The correct address appears below with a overview of what the tip sheet
contains.

Press Release Body = The August/September issue of Heart and Soul magazine ran an
article about gay married men entitled Brokeback Marriages--The Down Low on Loving A
Gay Man.

The article incorrectly referred to the Down Low Dozen tip sheet by infidelity
expert Ruth Houston as the Down Low Dozens tip sheet ( with an "s" at the end). It
also incorrectly listed the e-mail address to request this free tip sheet, which
tells Black women what to look for if they suspect their husband or boyfriend of
being on the down low. Instead of DownLowDozen@gmail.com the e-mail address was
incorrectly listed as DownLowDozens@gmail.com. Because of this error, women who
originally requested the tip sheet using this e-mail address were unable to get it.

Alternate E-mail Address to Request the FREE Tip Sheet

"As soon as I heard about the magazine's mistake, I immediately set up an 2nd e-mail
account using the erroneous e-mail address so as not to disappoint women requesting
this vitally important information." said infidelity expert Ruth Houston. "As soon
as it was activated, requests began pouring in. I shudder to think how many women
may have requested the Down Low Dozen tip sheet and failed to get it because of the
magazine's mistake. My concern is that these women, out of frustration, may not
bother to try requesting this potentially life-saving information again."

Meanwhile, the Down Low Dozen tip sheet, which is free, can now be requested from
either e-mail address: downlowdozen@gmail.com or downlowdozens@gmail.com with
the words "DL dozen" in the subject line."

Ignorance about the Down Low Contributes to HIV/AIDS Infection

In view of the facts presented in the recent ABC Primetime special, "Out of Control:
AIDS in Black America," I do hope that as a service to their readers, Heart &
Soul will print a correction in the next issue and post it on their website as well.
The ABC Primetime documentary cited ignorance as one of five reasons why AIDS has
reached epidemic proportions in the Black community."

Houston, founder of www.InfidelityAdvice.com and author of Is He Cheating on You? -
829 Telltale Signs says, "My research indidcates that one of the most prevalent
forms of ignorance is our ignorance about how to tell if a man is on the down low.
That ignorance invites infection. The down low is not a "Black thing" or a "gay
thing" -- it's an "infidelity thing. It means the man is cheating on his mate with
another man -- sometimes with life-threatening consequences."

A Public Service and a Protective Measure

Last year, Houston, an infidelity expert and author of Is He Cheating on You? - 829
Telltale Signs, compiled the Down Low Dozen tip sheet to give Black women specific
guidelines on what to look for if they suspect their husbands or boyfriends of being
on the down low. Houston explains, "I did it as a public service for Black women
everywhere, in an effort to address some of the ignorance in this area, and dispel
the two most common myths associated with how to tell if a man is on the down low."

"The Down Low Dozen tip sheet is a protective measure," Houston continues. " With
Black women comprising almost 70% of all newly diagnosed HIV/AIDS cases, and AIDS
being one of the leading causes of death in Black women, we really need reliable
information on what to look for so we can protect ourselves against
heterosexually-contracted HIV/AIDS. It could be a matter of life and death."

About the Down Low Dozen Tip Sheet

Part 1 of the Down Low Dozen tip sheet describes a discreet 3-step process for
finding out if your man is on the down low. It also lists 12 specific telltale
signs -- the down low dozen -- which in conjunction with other subtle signs of
infidelity, indicate that his partner is probably another man. Part 2 includes 2
dozen practical suggestions on what to do and how to confront your man if you find
yourself in a down low situation. For a FREE copy of the Down Low Dozen tip sheet,
